Autumn

It's autumn and I have got a week's holiday. Lovely. I'm currently seated in the sofa beside the fire looking out at the trees. Drinking tea and knitting. I've got a bit of a cold so this is the most pleasant way to spend my day. It is so nice to sit inside and relax while looking out at the cold garden and the leaves with oh so many different colours!
Due to this weird computer thing I can't upload videos or pictures. So instead I choose vodka and Chaka Khan - no, sorry, quotes I mean of course.

"I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see."
-John Burroughs

"You are who you are when nobody's watching"
- Stephen Fry

"My teenage years were exactly what they were supposed to be. Everybody has their own path. It's laid out for you. It's just up to you to walk it."
- Justin Timberlake

"There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort."
- Jane Austen

Something quite interesting!

Don't really know what to write except I love this programme and I love Stephen Fry. Chose this clip (despite it being quite christmasy)because David Tennant is in it, and Bill Bailey  -and Alan, but he's always there.

Robin Hood and Kleine Jan

Yesterday I had a very prodoctive day at Andrae's. This is the result:

We spend a couple of hours listening to Disney songs in Dutch, Russian and German versions. Here's my favorite.

Imagination

I've been thinking about cutting my hair. The question is how it should be... I can't decide whether it shoud be a bit long like Molly here:

or a bit shorter like this fancy boy band hairstyle.

or it it should be something more short and edgy..

I really like her hair.. so maybe something that's very short in front.

I went for a walk round the neighborhood and as I got home I found myself with three CD's; Blondie, Alfons Åberg and Alberte, and a LP with the soundtrack og the awesome film Footloose.

They look nice in this video...

Welcome to the good life

I am (almost) not in school any more because of upcoming exams, so I spend my time drinking beer with friends, chilling, watching TV, sleeping and especially eating. I haven't taken any pictures of the delicious food I've been eating, but I have some old, which I'll post soon. I've started roller skating more often due to the good weather.

Brilliant British Comedy

Yesterday me and some of my friends stayed in watching a lot of British sitcoms. The Fast Show, Green Wing, The IT Crowd, Black Books, Fawlty Towers and The Young Ones - does it get any better?

Now I've never watched The IT Crowd nor The Young Ones, but it was awesome.

For the first time ever, I made baked ice cream and it turned out very good. It was actually very easy to make although I had to do everything pretty fast once the ice cream is out of the freezer. But it was delicious!

glitter glitter glitter

I'm planning my 18 years birthday party and the theme is glitter, naturally. These are some of the outfits that inspire me for my hopefully fabulous outfit!

Off sick

I'm sick and it sucks. But after having slept 14 hours I feel a bit better, and so I have spend my day watching Will and Grace, listening to Diana Ross and drinkning some 20 cups of tea. Not that bad after all...

Never forget!

So, If you've read some of our previous posts you might have noticed that we really love Take That. And in less than 7 months we are going to a concert with this splendid boyband. It's going to be so awesome!

Ah yes!

Hello and welcome to Christmas! It's just lovely. Here in Copenhagen there is snow - last week it was very beautiful, but this week most of it is yellow og brown. I've listened to a lot of splendid christmas songs today. Have a nice day!

90210

I've been watching a whole lot of Beverly Hills 90210 lately. I am almost done with the fifth season. God that is good Tv! I love their looks especially Donnas (though, not always). It's weird that Kelly and Brandon are dating - they're a quite dull couple. Dylan's hot as always, and Steve's you know Steve. I hate that Donna's dating Ray - asshole - she should be dating David! Valerie's pretty annoying, but she sure does make the show interesting. I don't know how I feel about Jesse yet, but Andrea's looking a bit old and tired. I'll stop my Beverlybabbling now...

You are my dancing queen!

Well...

These days, I'm doing a lot of homework, being with friends an all that normal stuff. Yesterday, I went to the Unge Ta'r Ansvar demonstration with my friends. My school went on strike and afterwards we walked from Rådhuspladsen to Christiansborg with all the other schools. We were 25000 demonstrators i Copenhagen - quite cool! During the strike I watched a frightening documentary about the rebellion in Burma i 2007. It was very interesting, but I felt sick when it was finished. It is made of smuggled footage and it is called Burma VJ. I'm very glad OD is helping Burma this year.
Also, I bought the footloose soundtrack this weekend - lovely!

Arty

I'm not that intellectual these days because of school, work, homework and the bit of social life I have time for. But yesterday I read in my elles@pompidou book. It's in both French and English, which is quite nice because I can try to understand the text in French, but if it's too difficult I just read the English version. There are pictures of the artworks and quotes by the artists about their work and that's about it. I like that - sometimes it can be a bit too much with the author's interpretations of the pieces, the artists' lifestory and so on. Previous post about this book/exhibition.

Also just want to say that the radio's playing Lionel Richie's endless love and I'm so happy about that! (Although this is good too)

Ultimate procrastinator!!!!

Sorry about promising pictures of my delicious dinner last night when I didn't take any, but I simply forgot and suddenly all the food was gone.

I'm reading the Iliad and so I just happened to find these beauty hairstyles on google ( I know I suck). Also found this picture:

I honestly can't stop laughing! Fabolous lampshade she's got there!
